I would really love the two main characters to become a series. They were interesting together.The plot was a bit convoluted by the end, but was actually easy enough to follow while reading. I felt like the flashbacks were informative, but they really broke me out of the current story.It almost felt like separate short stories, things were so tenuously tied together. Daniel and Rosie, Daniel and Tansy, Daniel and the land development, Pippa and Cardle, Pippa and Alastair, Pippa and Ben. And all that flying! Whew!The story ended very logically, but frankly, I found the "motives" and actions that led to the deaths pretty flimsy reasons. Like the protagonist, I felt rather sorry for the killer.Finally, I don't know why "The Guilty Wife" was chosen as the title. It just makes no sense based on what happened by whom. I’m not sure if this is the first book I’ve read by this author, but a “gripping psychological thriller”? I think not. The characters were not likeable, and I just didn’t read anything heart pounding in the whole book. I actually thought it really dragged at places and that characters were added for no reason without any follow up. It was almost like there were four different story lines with no real ending, so for me, not gripping at all and the heart pounding twist never came. But that is just my personal opinion.
